ASTM A500 gelaste structurele buizen van koolstofstaal

Structurele buizen volgens ASTM A500 zijn buizen die worden geproduceerd en gebruikt voor structurele toepassingen. Tijdens het productieproces van structurele buizen zijn ASTM A500 structurele buizen gelaste buizen gemaakt van platgewalst staal, gevormd door een rolsysteem en gelast met behulp van elektrisch weerstandslassen. Structurele buizen zijn vaak holle constructieprofielen of HSS genoemd.
